Step one..
Open a New document.( Ctrl-N) 400x188 and make it white…

Step two…
Than click your brush tool. Than brush on any abstract brushes or grunge like brushes (best if you mix it together)

Step three..
Once your done brushing the first layer. Go to image~> Adjustment ~>Level. Set it to your desire. But I preferr it more medium dark.. Its up to you on how you want it..

Step four…
Once your done with that.. Create a new layer. layer ~> New layer. Than you go to Edit ~> Fill ~> White. Than you repeat step two and three..

Step five..
Than you set your second layer blending mode to screen…

Step six…
Create a new layer..
Than open any picture documents you want. Copy the picture and paste it to your new layer.. Than set the blending mode to luminosity..
Than repeat step three…

Than duplicate that layer with the picture document.. Than go to Filter ~> Blur ~> Gaussian Blur
Set it between 2.0 - 3.0 .your choice.. Than go to the blending mode and put it soft light and merge it (CTR-E)

Step Seven.

Click your text button …I use backslash ..but it don’t matter what kind of font you use. What ever look good to you than use it …
Right click on the layer than go to BLENDING OPTIONS.. Use the following

Drop shadow- distance-3 size-2
Inner shadow- distance-4 size-3
Outter glow- default
Bevel and emboss- chisel soft , size-2
Statin-default
Stroke- colore-Black size-2

Step eight…
To add caption.. I use vistor from Dafont.com ….set the size of the font to 12pt.. And color white..
Blending option..
Stroke-Black size 2

Repeat step eight if you want to add any more caption……

Step nine..
Click the last layer….than go to Color balance..

Midtone- -30,0,+31 <~ also set this to shadow and highlights..
Than Filter ~> Render ~> Clouds
Click the second to the last layer…. Color balance..
Midtones 0,40,30 <~ also set it to the shadow , highlights
Press X to default the color so the black is ontop of the white color
Than go to Filter ~> Render ~> Clouds

On the same layer ..go to color balance once again..
Midtones. 40,30,-20 <~ apply to to shadows and highlights
Than Filter ~> Render ~> clouds

Step ten…
If you don’t like the color that is on your picture document.. You can always ease the layers so you can find the color that look good on your picture…..

Step eleven..
Now take your lasso tool.. Click on your picture document.. Than start outlining around the picture.. Try to outline it so the outter edge of you picture could blend in with your background….once you did that .. Right click select inveres and than right click again than select feather than set it to 10 pix….than go to Edit ~> Clear.. If you don’t like how it blend you can always redo it the same way…..

Final Product…..
